CLUB NIGHT UPDATE (as at 16 October 2021)

Posted on October 16, 2021

Following an update made by Sport NZ and Athletics NZ on 15 October 2021, limits in numbers to sporting events and club nights are limited to groups of 100.

As with our first club night, all athletes wishing to take part in club night will need to be a registered member of the club by the Monday before club night. Those who have already registered are already accounted for. Athletes are asked to arrive 30 minutes before their first event, warm up, compete and leave as soon as possible.

Spectators are asked not to attend club night at the moment in an effort to keep numbers below the 100 person limit. Any parents/caregivers keen to help officiate should make themselves known to George McConachy on the night. If it is necessary to accompany your child, please wear a mask and socially distance where possible.

Please ensure that all attendees scan in using the QR code that is available throughout the facility or use the physical sign-in sheet in the Colin Gemmell Room.

Run Jump Throw:

Run Jump Throw will be starting this week. Only registered children will be allowed to attend. We ask that only ONE parent/caregiver accompany their child through the session.

Those taking part are asked to meet at the track in the carpark at 4:35pm, scan/sign in, then wait for the go ahead from Katrina. Once Run Jump Throw has finished, we ask that all not remaining for the full club night depart as soon as possible.

Parents/Caregivers please ensure that children wash their hands before and after attending Run Jump Throw.

If anyone is sick or unwell, please stay home.
